Overview of the Exhibition

Organized by the Korea Electronics Association (KEA) and first held in 1969, Korea Electronics Show is Korea's largest and leading exhibition for professional brands in the electronics and ICT industry. As a representative market that has led Korea to become a powerhouse in the electronics and IT industry, it has a strong reputation at home and abroad and has regular customers. The exhibition is a professional electronics show certified by the international UFI, with more than 3,000 influential overseas buyers and government and organization officials participating, providing an opportunity to expand overseas business, is one of the exhibitions of the Asian Electronics Show Alliance (AEECC), and is successively held in October and November with China CEF Exhibition, Japan CEATEC, Taiwan Electronics Show, and Hong Kong Electronics Show.

Participating in this exhibition can more directly understand the development of Korean and world products and the specific needs of the market, and has become the most important exhibition for professional manufacturers to explore the Asian market, especially the Korean market, grasp professional information, understand the current international market trends, master the latest technology and sign order contracts. The exhibition gathered a large number of international companies such as Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics, Qualcomm, Audi, etc., to present front-end technologies in the fields of information and communication, home appliances, semiconductors, electronic components, and mobile electronics. At the same time, in line with the focus of the value chain such as design, information content, and distribution, various theme pavilions are formed to provide investment information for the market. The high degree of internationality and diversity of supply provides a platform for exhibitors and visitors to communicate with each other, allowing participants to expand their business, in addition to the global trend seminar, the product-development-strategy conference and the IEIE-IEEE international academic event.

Market outlook

In recent years, due to the active international trade policy adopted by the South Korean government, it has become one of the key overseas markets for China's export-oriented enterprises. As one of the world's major producers and exporters of electronic products, China's electronic and optoelectronic manufacturing industry is constantly improving its international competitiveness, and the role of the information industry as a pillar of the national economy is constantly increasing. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the ROK for more than a decade, there has been a breakthrough in cooperation between the two countries. In addition, in addition to the substantial increase in the total volume of trade, China and South Korea are constantly expanding the scope of cooperation and deepening the level of cooperation, among which the trade of electronic products has become an important part of the trade between the two countries.

South Korea's electronics industry is developing rapidly, and it is currently vigorously developing knowledge-based and high-value-added industries such as information and communication, biology and new materials, and new energy. The economies of China and South Korea have a certain degree of complementarity, not only the relationship between commodity supply and demand trade, but also the possibility of technical cooperation. For a long time, the Korea Electronics Show has become an intermediate bridge for cooperation between Chinese and Korean enterprises, and Chinese electronics companies have obtained the opportunity to communicate and cooperate with outstanding Korean enterprises at the exhibition, and quickly open up the Korean and overseas markets.
