Overview of the ExhibitionThe India International Information and Communication Technology Expo (Convergence India) is jointly organized by the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) and Exhibitions India Group (EIG). The expo has long been strongly supported by three major Indian ministries: the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), and the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (I&B). It is India’s leading and largest exhibition for telecom, broadcasting, IoT, cloud computing, digital home, cable & satellite TV, smart devices broadcasting, and consumer electronics. Since its launch in 1993, it has been successfully held 33 times. With over 30 years of experience, it has grown into the largest and most influential information and technology expo in South Asia!The CONVERGENCE2026 exhibition covers a total area of 37,000 square meters, with 1,022 participating companies from China, Taiwan, Russia, the USA, New Zealand, Malaysia, France, Singapore, and more. The business visitors reached 41,250, with 280 industry speakers invited and 60 professional forums held. Online exposure hit 1.1 billion views.

Market analysisAs a major population country, India’s ICT (Information and Communication Technology), telecom and broadcasting, data center, and consumer electronics sectors are rapidly growing. Supported by the Digital India national strategy and policies from the Ministry of Communications and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, demand is continuously rising in areas like 5G adoption, IoT, AI, smart cities, and smart mobility.
