Overview of the ExhibitionThe São Paulo International Consumer Electronics and Home Appliances Expo (Eletrolar Show) is currently the largest professional trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances in Latin America. Organized by Grupo Eletrolar, the event is held once a year, and by 2026 it will have been held for 19 consecutive years. Each year, it attracts a large number of well-known international companies to showcase their top brands and latest products, bringing together many of the biggest retailers and brand owners in the industry. In 2027, the exhibition is expected to cover an area of 80,000 square meters, with 45,000 visitors, and 5,500 exhibitors and brands participating.
The 2026 expo attracted over 40,000 business visitors from around the world, covering an area of more than 70,000 square meters, with over 5,000 brands and more than 12,000 products on display. During the event, total sales reached 80 million reais. As one of the largest consumer electronics expos in Latin America, it definitely played an important role in fostering new business collaborations between Chinese and Brazilian companies, improving existing relationships, and removing trade barriers between China and Brazil. The 2027 expo will continue to expand with a new theme: Future Mobility Expo & Congress. It will focus on automakers, auto parts, battery suppliers, energy companies, fleet management, and last-mile solutions. During the event, Anhembi Sambadrome will be transformed into the largest B2B electric mobility test track in Latin America, where attendees can try out trucks, cars, motorcycles, e-bikes, and more. Interior Lifestyle South America: Held in collaboration with Ambiente, a world-renowned exhibition by Messe Frankfurt, the event features a 300㎡ immersive space called 'House All Connected,' blending automation, neuro-architecture, biophilic design, and AI into real-life settings. AirCon Experience (Air Conditioning Experience Zone): A 220㎡ dedicated space that combines tech talks, product demos, and business meetings, covering topics like residential and commercial air conditioning, automation, energy efficiency, and air quality. Packaging Park (Packaging Exhibition Zone): In collaboration with EMBANEWS, focusing on high-end packaging solutions for the consumer electronics and home appliance industries, including sustainable materials and logistics optimization. During the exhibition, the organizers held multiple networking sessions, forums, and talks to help suppliers and buyers understand the latest market trends and consumer demands. The Eletrolar Show has become an important opportunity for people in the consumer electronics and home appliance industry to check out the newest products and market updates.
