Overview of the ExhibitionICT-COMM PHILIPPINES, organized by the UK CEG Group, is the largest and most influential fiber optic communication and cable industry exhibition in the Philippines. It brings together manufacturers, suppliers, innovators, and service providers in the industry, covering a wide range of cable technology products and fiber optic communication products. The exhibition is supported by more than 10 associations, including the Philippine Wire and Cable Association, the Power and Electrical Industry Association, and the Philippine Chamber of Commerce.The 2025 exhibition on-site attracted companies from 10 different countries and regions, with 7,530 visitors from 20 countries, covering an area of more than 5,000 square meters. This exhibition is a very important platform for major companies to enter the Philippine market and is the first choice for expanding the telecommunications market in the Philippines.

Market dataThe Philippines is the second most populous country in Southeast Asia and the thirteenth most populous country in the world, with a large, educated young population. Its urbanization rate is close to 50%, and as urban development progresses, the demand for high-quality telecommunications services will continue to grow. The Philippines was the first country in Southeast Asia to achieve commercial 5G deployment, and as of April 2023, 5G network coverage had been achieved in 105 cities. The implementation of initiatives such as the National Broadband Plan and the shared tower policy helps promote better development of digitalization. The shared tower policy allows third-party companies to build telecommunications towers for telecommunications companies to use. Infrastructure sharing can address connectivity challenges caused by the archipelago's terrain, improve services, and expand coverage. Driven by the increase in mobile internet penetration, the widespread application of 5G technology, and diversified consumer demand, the telecommunications market in the Philippines is expected to continue growing. According to data from market research institutions, the size of the Philippine mobile communications market is expected to grow from about 5 billion USD in 2024 to over 10 billion USD in 2030, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of approximately 8.5%.
