Feature 1: AI is Everywhere!  Since the AI boom began, everyone believes that whether it's generative AI, Edge AI, or any form of AI computing model applications, they can simplify communication between city citizens and the government, respond to citizens' needs, and significantly improve the efficiency of public services! The Smart City Forum & Exhibition (SCSE) has become the most important IoT industry event in Asia. In the past two years, the organizers have showcased emerging technologies primarily through 5G AIoT. However, as mentioned earlier, generative AI has spread its impact like a nuclear explosion, and AI applications have now permeated various industries. Taiwan is naturally a key part of the global AI hardware supply chain. At this exhibition, you will see AI applications everywhere, utilizing the Taiwan AI Cluster zone to link the display content of all AI companies, aiming to showcase the vibrant atmosphere of Taiwanese companies developing AI solutions! Exhibitors: Chunghwa Telecom, Far EasTone Telecommunications, Foxconn, Acer, TaiZhiCloud, LINGQUN, SynTech, Advantech, and others Diverse and Rich AI Professional Forums: The organizers are hosting three full days of AI frenzy and smart city series forums, covering three major themes: AI development trends, Edge AI applications, and generative AI. Feature 2: Diversified 5G Private Network Applications The three major features of 5G—high speed, wide connectivity, and low latency—not only have broad applications in smart cities and intelligent transportation but can also establish enterprise-specific networks for use in smart factories, smart retail, smart healthcare, smart hospitals, smart warehousing, as well as autonomous vehicles and vehicle networks. With the gradual improvement of network infrastructure and commercial equipment, the application of enterprise 5G private networks will rapidly become widespread. This exhibition specifically highlights diversified 5G private network applications for reference by various industries. Feature Three: Achieving Net-Zero Emissions by 2050 Is Actually a Business Opportunity According to statistics, more than 150 countries have already announced net-zero emission commitments, and over 260 cities and 980 companies have pledged to achieve net-zero, showing that net-zero has become a global goal, with the world taking concrete actions toward net-zero transformation. From international initiatives to Taiwan’s own net-zero emission plans, achieving these goals relies on smart technologies to help cities reduce carbon emissions or reach net-zero targets. These approaches also align with the strategies used to build smart cities. Therefore, whether it is promoting smart cities or achieving net-zero emission targets, both represent emerging business opportunities.
